Is there any benefit in trading with a regulated entity?

Absolutely. As a regulated entity, the additional level of oversight should provide traders a measure of comfort that unregulated entities cannot provide.

Do I need a Series 7 to trade at Benchmarq?

No

Does Benchmarq have retail brokerage accounts?

No. Benchmarq only trades for its own account and does not accept retail or customer accounts.

What trading platforms does Benchmarq provide?

We currently use Sterling Trader and LightSpeed. We will be adding numerous platforms within the next coming months.

Do I receive a salary if I trade with Benchmarq?

Traders at Benchmarq are paid on performance only. Compensation is based on each individual trader’s net profit and loss.

When and how will I be paid?

Benchmarq traders are generally paid on the 10th business day of the following month. Traders are only paid by Benchmarq directly.

What will my responsibilities be as a trader for Benchmarq?

Traders with Benchmarq are responsible to trade the U.S. equity and options markets. Your only task will be to trade the firm’s capital, learn the craft, and to trade responsibly with discipline.

Does Benchmarq support remote trading?

Absolutely. Our dedicated staff will gladly help you set up your layout and internet connections to optimally trade remotely.

I am an experienced trader representing myself and several other traders who would like to join Benchmarq. Can accommodations be made on a group level?

Yes. Candidates with trading experience representing a group should contact us to discuss opportunities.

Does Benchmarq support Black Box Trading?

Yes. Benchmarq offers access to multiple API’s and the ability to have your strategy co-located at various market data centers.

What kind of benefits plan does Benchmarq provide?

Benchmarq provides optional medical & dental plans that are available to all traders of Benchmarq Trading Partners, LLC after a small waiting period.
